I've been writing for about thirty years now and never had the opputunity to legitamately publish my work due to the lack of 'interested' publishers. Triond puts writing out there and lets web-based society choose what interests them rather than letting some staunchy publisher choose for them. It's very freeing. The contacts and resources available through Triond are amazing. Rather than feel I'm wasting my talent waiting for traditional publication I feel I'm getting somewhere with my writing. It is interesting how you outlined the failure of blogs - their ekpyrotic decline. An yet emails are an ongoing dream. Triond has liberated my abilities as a writer - rather than a newsheet writer constantly having to inform the world about my life. Leave that to Twitter.
